I produce a wide variety of ironwork, both forged and fabricated, from small items of domestic ironmongry up to larger decorative pices and parish signs.

A speciality is door furniture; latches, hinges, also windows and window fittings etc, many of them for restoration or refurbishment work on old and historic buildings. Customers include specialist builders and cabinet makers, stained glass workers and the National Trust. I also seem to do a fair amount of repair and restoration work on old ironwork...

STUDENTS
Are you interested in learning the advanced skills of restoration work? If so the NHIG’s Heritage Blacksmith Bursaries project will offer practical skill based training in the conservation of historic ironwork to semi-skilled blacksmiths over the age of 19 years delivered in a workshop environment.

The William Morris Craft Fellowship
...is an award scheme which broadens the skills and experience of trained craftsmen involved in historic building repairs.
