Fire & Iron Limited

Fire & Iron Limited have operated a large blacksmithing workshop since 1932 where ironwork can be specially designed and made by us. Unique items from award-winning public art and architectural ironwork to trophies, handrails, fire tools and curtain poles have been made here continuously for almost a century. We also restore historic ironwork and give it a new lease of life. Installation of our projects, where relevant, is also carried out by us. Fire & Iron also runs a Gallery, which showcases an extraordinary range of craftmanship and creativity. Recognised worldwide, Fire & Iron is the place for discovering and acquiring exceptional metal artworks by leading British artist blacksmiths. Fire & Iron Limited is owned and run by Lucy Quinnell. Her son, Tom Quinnell manages the workshop of Fire & Iron, and as a skilled blacksmith and designer, he works to commission on all of Fire & Iron’s creative & practical blacksmithing projects & public artworks, and is also currently exhibiting a wide selection of work at Fire & Iron Gallery. - THE QUINNELL SCHOOL OF BLACKSMITHING - We also provide recreational blacksmithing courses, specializing in high-quality, engaging, & fully hands-on blacksmithing courses and experience days for beginners, as well as educational courses and group demonstrations for schools and alternative/therapeutic learning sessions for children and teenagers with special educational needs and disabilities. The Quinnell School of Blacksmithing was set up by Dick Quinnell in 1996 and is now managed by Tom Quinnell. www.blacksmithing-school.co.uk
