I have been a professional blacksmith for forty-three years and have been a member of BABA for the whole of that time. The scope of my work covered everything from jewellery to architectural work and from domestic hardware to sculpture, the latter being of the greatest interest to me. I have taught blacksmithing both here and abroad for many years, for most of that time, running my own business. I am now semi-retired, although I still teach two days a week at the National School of Blacksmithing at Holme Lacy, Herefordshire. In addition, I have been editing the BABA magazine “Artist Blacksmith” for the past five years. In this capacity, I am always on the lookout for articles and images of work, likely to be of interest to blacksmiths.
